Josep Enrich


Josep is a Partner at Bartolome & Briones, where he has been working since 1998. He is part of the Corporate Area and has extensive experience in commercial transactions in different sectors such as Energy, Insurance, Retail or Leisure.

In the last few years, he has carried out various Legal due diligence, company and assets acquisitions processes, advising national and international clients in all project phases.

In addition, Josep provides legal advice to national and international clients in the areas of corporate, contractual and regulatory law regarding their investments in Spain, coordinating the other areas of the firm to offer comprehensive services to its clients.

In the Corporate Area, Josep has led numerous M&A transactions, joint-venture agreements, capitalization and financing transactions and processes of conflict resolution among shareholders. He has also advised on the implementation in Spain to companies in different sectors such as Energy, Insurance, Retail, Leisure or Aviation.

Taking part in transnational deals, Josep has developed an extensive experience in coordinating legal teams from other countries and in the legal definition of all kind of international transactions.

In addition, he has acted as advisor in Spain for the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements including sale and purchase, supply of products and services, agency and distribution, franchise, license and joint venture agreements.

Furthermore, he has developed his practice in the area of Real Estate, with special emphasis regarding the acquisition of properties and registry law, providing legal advice for real estate transactions in Spain and the rest of Europe.

In the Energy sector, Josep has represented numerous international investors in the acquisition and development of energy projects, EPC agreements, financing, legal support in the regulation of the energy sector in Spain and O&M contracts.

In the Insurance industry, he has actively collaborated with insurance and intermediation companies from other EU states on the commencement and development of their activities in Spain, either through the free provision of services or in the exercise of the right of establishment, including among other aspects the evaluation and analysis of policies and other business and promotional documents in areas such as general conditions, consumers protection, complaints management, prevention of money laundering, data protection, etc.

Josep also advises clients of the Retail sector in their business and real estate issues, with an extensive experience in negotiating lease agreements, franchise and license agreements.

As for Leisure, he has experience in hotel management and franchising contracts, lease and management contracts with hotel operators. He also provides legal advice to well-known Spanish restaurateurs in their local and international activities, negotiating the implementation of restaurants in Spain and abroad.
